Swimming with dolphins is one of Mauritius’ most unforgettable experiences, giving you the chance to see bottlenose and spinner dolphins in their natural habitat, usually off the coast of Le Morne.
Swimming with dolphins is one of Mauritius’ most memorable experiences, offering the chance to see bottlenose dolphins and spinner dolphins in the open sea. Most tours depart from Le Morne early in the morning, when the water is calmer and the chances of spotting dolphins are at their best.
After the dolphin swim, the boat usually stops at a beautiful coral area for a short snorkelling session before returning.
Cost: From MUR 8,000 for a catamaran group trip without swimming, and from MUR 13,000 for a private motorboat trip with swimming.
