Why We Recommend a Domestic Flight to Praslin

If you’re landing in Seychelles and continuing directly to Praslin, booking a domestic flight upon arrival is often the most convenient choice. Here’s why:

• Domestic flights are short, scenic, and save time—especially after an overnight international flight.
• The price is only about $50 more than the ferry (per person, one way).
• If booked together with your international ticket, the luggage allowance increases to 30kg instead of 23kg.

Caution: If your international flight is delayed, you risk missing the 10:30 AM ferry, leaving you waiting until the 4:30 PM ferry—a long layover after a red-eye flight.

Additional Tips:

• The domestic terminal is just a 2-minute walk from the international terminal.
• If you’re traveling with sports or fishing gear, confirm in advance that it can be transported on domestic flights.
• Between June and September, the sea tends to be rough. For travelers prone to seasickness, a flight is highly recommended.
