The forest of ebony trees is a tangled and special forest that includes a comfortable and elevated path, which allows you to come even with children. You can do the route alone or with a local guide. Since the entire track is elevated and passes over the forest, everything can be viewed in a comfortable and pleasant way. Watching nature up close and its beautiful landscapes, as well as the special animals and rare birds, will make you want to stay a long time and discover more and more. The summit of piton canot is the highest point on the route, about 540 meters of ascent, from where you can see the entire forest from above.
There is a museum where you can hear about the past of the island of Mauritius, about the local nature and its uniqueness.
